Proof of its success, the CCGQ is today the largest LGBT chamber of commerce in Canada. It organizes a whole range of activities that allow members to network and to expand their professional activities. The CCGQ is also a key actor within the Québec Gay and Lesbian community as it promotes its varied economic interests.

The CCGQ is comprised of hundreds of members originating from all walks of life. Whether they be entrepreneurs, business leaders, retailers, professionals, public sector officials, leaders of the cultural sector or students, they are committed individuals active in their communities throughout the province.

During the past year, the CCGQ released an important study commissioned from Léger Marketing to look into the economic clout of Québec's Gay and Lesbian community. The study revealed that the spending power of LGBT persons in the province stands at $13-billion per year. This is 20 % more than that of the Québec average. Not surprising, our Chamber of commerce is at the heart of a very dynamic community.
